VERSAILLES- Bernie Lee Woods, 89, passed away Monday, June 25, 2018 at the VA Medical Center. A native of Woodford County, he was born on March 29, 1929 to the late Lillie Hacker Woods and Joe Woods, Sr Mr. Woods was a barn builder, and a veteran of the United States Army.

He served in the Korean era where he earned many awards. He is survived by his children, Donald Woods, Lexington, Kenny Woods, Somerset and Mary Margaret Woods Bishoff, Elizabethtown; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren… Read More » and great great grandchildren. Funeral service will be 7:00 PM Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Clark Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 4:00 PM until the time of service. Burial will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 11:00 AM.
