Beth Pirchesky Schaffer, 62, of Belle Vernon, Washington Twp. , died Monday, June 25, 2018 at Donnell House, Washington. Born July 3, 1955 in N. Charleroi, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Ruth Ziskind Pirchesky.

A resident of Belle Vernon most of her life, Mrs. Schaffer was Jewish by faith, worked for Aetna Health Insurance as a customer care specialist, and loved to shop and collect antiques. She is survived by her husband Thomas Schaffer of Pittsburgh and daughter Heather Duttry & Fiancé Zack Harris of Belle Vernon. She is preceded in death by her daughter Gwen Shakespeare and a brother Marvin Pirchesky.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 1-3 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183 followed by funeral services at 3 PM with the Rabbi David Novitsky of Temple Beth Israel, Washington officiating. Interment will take place in Temple Beth Am Cemetery.
