Obituary for Mary Ann Harper Mary Ann Harper, 75, formerly of Belle Vernon and Smyrna, TN went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 27, 2018 in the Residence at Hilltop. A daughter of the late John and Wilma Alexander Kovatch, she was born in Whitsett on August 8, 1942. Protestant by faith, Mary Ann had resided in Smyrna, TN for over 30 years, returning to Belle Vernon in 2013.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law; Vicki and Gary Atkins of Perryopolis and Marianne and John “J.T.” Toth of Twilight, two sons; Donald J. Miller and Ronald Miller both of Fairhope (Belle Vernon), three grandchildren; Jason (Lauren ) Atkins of Belle Vernon, Tiffany (Joel) Hixenbaugh of Grindstone, and James Miller of Belle Vernon, and four great grandchildren; Caleb and Hannah Hixenbaugh and Liam and Jade Atkins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 1st husband, James H. Miller in 2002, her 2nd husband, Dewey Harper in 2013, and a sister, Virginia Leichliter in 2013. Friends will be received from 2 to 5 P.M. Sunday in the Ferguson Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Belle Vernon.
