Obituary for Kenneth Lee Chiplaskey Kenneth Lee Chiplaskey, 69, of Fallowfield Twp. went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 10, 2018 in Allegheny General Hospital. A son of the late Kenneth W. and Thelma Hartsock Chiplaskey, he was born in Brownsville on July 6, 1948.

The ‘Rock’ of his family, he was a member of Journey By Grace Church and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War in the Honor Guard Notification Detail and the Military Honors Detail. He was a ‘jack of all trades’, working on his home and enjoyed working on, and rebuilding, cars for himself and his family and friends. He owns, and has restored, several classic cars.

Kenneth worked for the former J & L Steel Company for 20 years and retired in 2010 from PJAX Trucking Company. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Rex Chiplaskey, with whom he would have celebrated 49 years of marriage on June 21, 2018, a daughter and son-in-law, Lora Lee and Rick Evans of Monessen, two sons and a daughter-in-law, Eric Chiplaskey and Ryan and Nicole Chiplaskey, all of Fallowfield Twp. , a sister, Marsha Susa (Mike Stevens) of Valley City, OH, a brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Cheryl Chiplaskey of Fayette City, six grandchildren, Carissa Barcus, Eric Evans, Carlee Evans, and Ashton, Ayden and Aryana Chiplaskey, two sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law, Edwina Jones and Edward ‘Tim’ and Linda Rex, and several nieces and nephews.

He will be loved and missed by everyone that knew him. A memorial service will be Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 10:30 A.M. in the Journey By Grace Free Methodist Church, 4803 PA-51, Belle Vernon with Pastor Bill Bailey officiating. The Ferguson Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 700 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon is handling arrangements.
