Obituary for Betsy Ann Mount (Trobough) Bettie died Friday, April 20, 2018 in Muleshoe. She was born March 13, 1931 in Edwardsville, Kansas to Earnest Lee Trobough and Clara (Lowe) Trobough. She married Robert (Gene) Mount in the Northern Baptist Church of Ottawa, Kansas on June 19, 1951.

Bettie loved sewing and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Parkland Baptist Church in Clovis, NM. Bettie attended schools at Edwardsville-Chesnut Grove and Lane Schools.

Her and Robert met during high school in Lane, Kansas. She always enjoyed decorating for all the holidays and collecting dolls. After high school she worked for Pence & Bales Company in Ottawa and Arkansas City.

Bettie had her beauty operators license and worked as a beauty operator in Dodge City, Kansas and later worked for Hamburgs Ladies Ready to Wear Store in Abilene, Kansas as store Manager. Bettie is preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers Lee, Sonny, Nelson, and 3 sisters Pearl, Bernice, and Doris. Bettie is survived by her husband, Gene Mount of Muleshoe; her two sons, Allen Mount of Muleshoe and David Mount and his wife Lisa of Heartwell, Nebraska; one daughter Patricia Copeland and her husband Rod of Lenexa, Kansas; four grandchildren, Blake Mount, Brandon Mount, Megan Copeland, and Hayden Mount; and three great-grandchildren, Daylen Mount, Hunter Hodges, J.J. Hodges.
