Betty Alley Creger, 84, of Beaufort, passed away Friday, October 5, 2018, at her home. Her service will be held at a later date. Mrs. Betty attended Ann Street United Methodist Church in Beaufort and was a member of Kings Grove United Methodist Church in Crockett, VA.

She is survived by her daughter, Rose Tankard and husband, Phillip, of Beaufort; grandson, Stephen Tankard and wife, Rachael, of Beaufort; and great-grandson, Luke Owen Tankard; sisters, Charlene Brooks of Chicago, IL and Margie Lawson of Fries, VA; brother, Jackie Alley of Galax, VA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Creger; son, Stephen Grover Creger, II; parents, Roscoe and Eva Alley; and brothers, Drayton Alley, Russell Alley, and Lee Alley.
