Betty’s Obituary Betty Frances Coble Tysinger, 84, of Lexington passed away Sunday, February 17, 2019 at Hinkle Hospice House. A funeral service will be 2:00 pm Thursday, February 21 at Lexington Church of God where she was a member, conducted by Revs. Rodney Merrill and Todd Kiger, with burial to follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park.

The family will see friends from 6-8 pm Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home. Mrs. Tysinger was born August 21, 1934 in Davidson County to Bennie Franklin Coble and Emma Faye Lee Coble. Her parents, a son, David Eugene Tysinger, a brother, Robert Franklin Coble and son-in-law, Gary Whitehead, all preceded her in death.

She retired from PPG. Surviving are her husband, Lloyd David Tysinger, of the home. ; her sons, Tony Wayne Tysinger (Gina), Cecil Lynn Tysinger (Donna), a daughter, Gayle Whitehead, all of Lexington; her brothers, Dallas Lee Coble (Wanda), James Everette Coble (Carmelita); sisters, Sadie Pauline Smith of Lexington and Wilma Miller ( Ray) of Kernersville.

Also surviving are six grandchildren, Jason Whitehead, Patrick Tysinger, Christy Akins, Brandon Tysinger, Brianna Whitehead, Drake Whitehead; and her great-grandchildren, Noah Tysinger, Jacob Tysinger, Ava Tysinger, Gatlynn Tysinger, Mazie Whitehead, Maddox Whitehead, Christina Akins, Michelle Akins and Tori Akins. Also surviving is her beloved furbaby, Spanky. Memorials may be made to Lexington Church of God, 804 W. Fourth Avenue, Lexington, NC 27292 or Hospice of Davidson County, 201 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
