Samuel’s Obituary Samuel Zeno Tussey, Jr. age 76, of Lexington passed away on Friday, February 8, 2019 at his home. A funeral service will be held at Beck’s Reformed Church at 3:00 pm on Monday, February 11, 2019 with Pastor Ben Green officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery with military honors.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm prior to the service at the Church. Mr. Tussey was born in Davidson County on March 14, 1942 to Samuel Zeno Tussey, Sr. and Nova Beck Tussey. He was a retired self-employed building contractor and a veteran of the Army, having served in Vietnam as a Green Beret.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James Robert Tussey. Surviving are his loving wife, Judy Fritts Tussey of the home; daughters, Tracy Brickey of Calabash and Tiffany Tussey (David Farris) of Lexington; a young man that he loved like a son, Timothy Spivey of Southmont; and two grandchildren, Thomas Casey Mayfield and Jayden Riley Farris. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Davidson County at 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292 or to Beck’s Reformed Church at 2845 Becks Church Road, Lexington, NC 27292.
