Tommie Joan Russell June 11, 1918 – February 01, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Mrs.Tommie Joan Mullinix Russell, 100, of Fleabo Road died Friday, February 1, 2019 at Hinkle Hospice House. A funeral service will be Sunday, February 3, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Eldorado Baptist Church in Troy, NC, where she was a member, conducted by the Rev. Matt Dawson.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends after the service at the church. Mrs. Russell was born in Montgomery County June 11, 1918 to the late William Nathan and Bessie Myrtle Tucker Mullinix.

She had retired from the former Burlington Industries and Steadmans Corporation. She was predeceased by her husband, Hubert Milbery Russell, daughter, Rhonda Callicutt, three brothers, and six sisters. Surviving are daughters Wanda Atkins (Cliff) and Rosalind Berrier (Randy) all of Lexington; eleven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren; in addition to brother-in-law Kenneth Callicutt of Troy.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
