Ray’s Obituary Autry Ray Tysinger Sr. age 73 of Lexington passed away Thursday night January 31, 2019 at his home. A funeral service will be 2:00 PM Saturday at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Bud Powell and entombment will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum.

The family will see friends from 6-8 pm Friday at Davidson Funeral Home and at other times at the home of his son. Ray was born December 12, 1945 in Davidson County to Willie James Tysinger and Minnie Belle Wilson Tysinger. He was a retired supervisor with the US Postal Service with 20 years of service.

He loved watching Westerns. He served in the National Guard and attended High Point University. He was a member of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church.

His parents, his wife, Dorothy Gail (Dot) Hill Tysinger and brothers, James Raeford Tysinger and Larry Wayne Tysinger all preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his beloved canine compainion, Taz. Surviving are his son, Autry Ray Tysinger Jr. and his wife Donna of Lexington.
