Christabelle’s Obituary Christabelle James Byrd age 75 of Lexington passed away Tuesday March 26, 2019 at Hinkle Hospice House. A funeral service will be 2:00 Friday March 29, 2019 at Good Hope United Methodist Church where she was a member conducted by Rev. Joseph Fulk III, and burial to follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park.

The family will see friends from 6-8 pm Thursday at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel and at other times at the home. Christabelle was born March 28, 1943 in Davidson County to Clyde William James and Fallie Lee Weaver James. She had worked for LFI and Stanly Furniture and was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Wayne Byrd.

parents and two brothers, Ronald James and Clyde Leroy James and a brother in law. James Fulk. Surviving are her sons, Terry Byrd (Stacy) and Jeffrey Byrd (Brandy) all of Lexington.

Five grandchildren, Courtney Lowery(Dylan), Jesse Byrd, Dalton Byrd, Hannah Byrd and Haley Byrd and three great grandchildren. Also surviving are her sisters,Opal Fulk of Lexington and Nettie Foster (Richard) of Clemmons and a brother, Arnold James (Rita) of Lexington. Her sisters in laws, Mickey James and Keith James, and brother-in-law, Herman Byrd and wife, Ursula.
