Jerry’s Obituary Jerry Lee Gray, Sr., age 58, of Lexington passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at his home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 17, 2019 at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington with military honors. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm prior to the service and other times at the home of the son, David Connie.

Mr. Gray was born in Guilford County on September 23, 1960 to Troy Junior Gray and Geneva Wingfield Scott. He was a retired foreman operator, having worked for Owens-Illinois and was a veteran of the US Army. He was preceded in death by his father, Troy Junior Gray; and his son, Jerry Lee Gray, Jr. Surviving are his loving wife, Tammy Burleson Gray of the home; three sons, Danny Connie, David Connie (Nancy), and Scotty Connie (Mandy) all of Lexington; one daughter, Nikki Gregory (Will) of Mt.

Gilead; four brothers, Gary Wayne Gray (Pam) of Asheboro, Darrell Gray (Anita) of Asheboro, Charles M. Gray (Pat) of Seagrove and Kenneth Gray (Shelia) of Asheboro; four sisters, Barbara Gray of TN, Christine Retizel (Tim), Carolyn Toomes (Frankie) and Kathy Gray all of Asheboro; four grandchildren, Tammy Brooke Connie, Ridge Anderson Connie, Rylee Connie and Cameron Connie; and one great-grandson, William Lee Gregory.
