June’s Obituary June Elizabeth Long O’Brien age 80 passed away Sunday March 10, 2019 at Hospice of the Piedmont. A funeral service will be 1:00 pm Thursday March 14, 2019 at Midway United Methodist Church where she was a member conducted by Rev. Chuck Ireson with burial to follow.

The family will see friends 6-8 pm Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel and at other times at their respective homes. Ms. O’Brien was born July 28, 1938 in Henry County, Virginia to Charlie Clarence Long and Iris Loretta Gillespie Long. She retired from Thomasville Medical Center.

Her parents, a son Timothy Patrick O’Brien, sister Judith Mundy and her brother in law, Robert Mundy all preceded her in death. Surviving are her children, Kelly O’Brien of Winston Salem and Kevin O’Brien (Mandy) of Kernersville and Cathy Hennings ( Darren) of East Bend and Dennis O’Brien (LinAnne) of N. Jersey. She deeply loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

They are Stephanie Dellinger, Zell Hennings, Amber Mack, Jason Mack, Chelsea Miles, Benjamin O’Brien, Elizabeth O’Brien, Erin O’Brien, Gabriel O’Brien and Rachel O’Brien. Also surviving are her brothers and sisters, Jessie Ferrell (Jerry), Janet Long , Jerry Long (Marie) and Jo McKissick (Dave). Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont 1803 Westchester Drive, High Point NC 27262.
