Pearlie Mae’s Obituary Pearlie Mae Carter Tysinger age 91 passed away Monday at Lexington Medical Center. A funeral service will be 11:00 am Friday March 8, 2019 at Becks Evangeligal Lutheran Church where she was a longtime member conducted by Vicar J. Robert Cranford IV and burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will see friends from 10:00 am until 11:00 am prior to the service at the church and at other times at her daughters home.

. Mrs. Tysinger was born May 20, 1927 in Union County to James Nelson Carter and Mary Ann Cooper Carter. Her parents, husband, James Vernon Tysinger,brothers J. B. Carter and Douglass Carter and a sister, Inez Wallace all preceded her in death.

She retired from Parkdale Mill and was a graduate of Lexington High School Class of 1945. She had worked for Hospice and helped start Meals on Wheels for the Central Davidson area. Surviving are a daughter, Diane Shoaf (Richard) of Lexington and a son Terry V. Tysinger (Barbara) of Madison.

Her grandchildren, Ricky Shoaf and friend, Fran, Bryan Shoaf (Lisa)all of Lexington, Rebecca Tysinger Madrigal (Jaime)of Reidsville and Jake Tysinger NSW Coronado, Calif. Great grandchildren, Sara Shoaf, John Shoaf, Matthew Shoaf, Kendall Shoaf all of Lexington. Spencer Madrigal and Poppie Madrigal of Reidsville.

Also surviving are a host of nieces and nephews and a special niece and caregiver, Shirley Pendergrass. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292 or Meals on Wheels, 555-B West Center Street Ext.
