Nancy Ophelia Bradley May 02, 1941 – May 28, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Mrs. Nancy Ophelia Ricks Bradley, 78, of Lexington died Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Brookstone Retirement Center after a hard fought battle, with her loving family by her side. For a better good, the family decided to donate her body to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Research. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Nancy was born in McDowell County on May 2, 1941 to the late Willard Russell and Ollie Edna Robinson Ricks. A homemaker, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all who knew her, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Welcome. Surviving are her loving husband of 56 years, Coy, of the home; son Darren Bradley and wife Karen of Charleston, SC; daughter, Amanda Swain of Lexington; and granddaughters Ashley and Logan Swain of Lexington.

Also surviving are sister Kay Gregory and husband Roy of Charlotte, and nephews Scott Gregory and Eric Gregory. The family would like to say “Thank you from the bottom of our heart for your concern as we know she touched many lives. Her fight is now complete”.
