Kathy’s Obituary Kathy Marie Owens, 67, of Holiday Drive in Lexington, passed away Sunday May 19, 2019 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday May 22, 2019 at Lakeview Baptist Church with Rev. David Wooten conducting services.

Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm Wednesday at Lakeview Baptist Church and other times at the residence of Renee Rummage, 182 Charlie Owens Lane, Lexington. Mrs. Owens was born February 4, 1952 in Iredell County to Annie Jane Scott.

She was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by her mother; her step father Cletus Dewey Scott; her husband Charlie Lee Owens Jr. and a sister Rita Beamon. Surviving are two daughters, Stefanie Poore(Paul), Renee Rummage (Mark) both of Lexington; one brother, Wayne Moose (Hilda) of Lexington; one sister Sharon Everhart (Tim) and 2 grandchildren, Kayla Rummage and Kelsie Rummage. Memorials may be made to donor’s choice.
