Morris’ Obituary Morris ‘Hoss’ Dean Hensley, age 55, of Jeanette Drive passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington officiated by Preacher Clyde Akers. Visitation with family and friends will be held immediately following the service and other times at the home 2116 New Hwy 64 West, Lexington.

Hoss was born in Mecklenburg County, NC on December 22, 1963 to Morris Jefferson Hensley and Ruby Dean White Hensley. He had previously worked for 17 years for the City of Lexington and more recently as a property manager. Hoss enjoyed playing the drums and fishing, loved to laugh and make others laughed but his passion was his 3 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his loving wife, Donna Bivens Hensley, of the home; son, Luke Hensley, of Asheville; daughter, Alana Cox (Derrick) of Monroe; and 3 grandchildren, Carson, Emma and Aubrey Cox.
