Edna’s Obituary Edna Lee Seagraves King, age 84, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Chatham Nursing Center of Elkin, NC A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Union Grove Baptist Church with Dr. Harold Fletcher and Pastor Ken Harris officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, May 24, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel.

Mrs. King was born in Yadkin County on December 22, 1934 to Troy Lester Seagraves and Hattie Sturdivant Seagraves. She was a homemaker, and a member of Union Grove Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, David Clifford King who passed away on May 15, 2007; her brothers, Clyde Seagraves, and Troy Seagraves; and sister, Patsy Hardy.

Surviving are her three sons, Thomas King (Josephine) of Kernersville; Gary King and Ron King (Sandi) both of Jacksonville, Florida; brother, Calvin Seagraves, of Stokes County; her care giver, Eva Hodge, of Elkin; five grandchildren, Spencer Lee King of Salt Lake City, UT; Dylan Curtis King of Ogden, UT; Joseph King, of Kernersville; Sean King of Jacksonville, FL and Megan Saver of NY; along with one great-grandchild, Skyler King. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Union Grove Baptist Church, 2295 Union Grove Road, Lexington, NC 27295 Davidson Funeral Home-Hickory Tree Chapel is serving the King family.
