Amanda’s Obituary Amanda Blair Rush Shell, age 48 of Lexington, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2019 at her home. The family will receive friends for a Celebration of Life for Amanda from 6:00-8:00pm Wednesday, May 29th at Journey Church of Lexington, 61 Biesecker Road in Lexington, NC. Amanda was born on April 30, 1971 in Guilford County, NC to Charles Blair Rush and Mary Glenn Robbins Feldman.

She was previously employed with North Davidson Veterinary Hospital as a vet tech. Amanda loved the Earth, nature and loved and cared for all animals. She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Allen Steven Feldman; grandparents, Avernell Rush and Glenn and Ruby Robbins; and her step-brother, Mark Bradley Feldman.

Surviving are her husband, James Barry Shell; son, Devin Blair Sink of Boone, NC; step-son, Christopher Scott Shaw; parents; step-brother, Richard Edward Feldman; first cousin, Glenn Eugene Wilson; aunt and uncle, Frankie and Wayne Sowers and Kathy Bowman, who was like a mother to Amanda. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to donor’s favorite animal shelter.
