Roy Eugene Ledford May 28, 1958 – February 28, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Mr. Roy Eugene “Gene” Ledford, 60, of E.L. Myers Rd. died Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. A graveside service will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday at Madison Heights Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Pastor James Shetley.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM before the service at Piedmont Funeral Home. Gene was born in Davidson County May 28, 1958 to the late Charles Edgar and Gladys Lucille Hathcock Ledford. He was retired from Masterbrands Corporation and a member of Gospel Light Freewill Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were brothers Willie Martin Ledford and Charles Edgar Ledford, Jr., and sister Linda Carolyn Ledford. Surviving are his wife Debbie Bivens Ledford of the home; brother Jimmy Ray Ledford of Lexington; sisters Ruth Burleson (Wade) and Drinda Perdue (Jacky) all of Lexington; and a host of nieces and nephews.
