Frances’ Obituary Frances Mills Thomason, age 83, of Lexington passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at her home. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Meadowview Presbyterian Church with Rev. Chris Bitterman and Pastor Gavin Pratt officiating.

A private inurnment will be held at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends following the service at the Church and other times at Mrs. Thomason’s home. Mrs. Thomason was born on February 19, 1936 to J.B. Mills and Pearl Eller Mills Craver.

She was retired from Davidson County, having worked in employment and training and was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Mason Thomason; two sisters, Doris Harvell and Janett Cope; and her grandson, Justin Grubbs. Surviving are her son, Jeffrey Thomason (Carol) of Lexington; her daughter, Amanda Thomason Swaim (Gordon) of Lexington; her brother, James H. Craver of Lexington; a granddaughter, Brittany Thomason; two step grandchildren, Courtney Creger and Jason Michael; five step great-grandchildren, Taylor Butler, Camryn Ball, Addy Ball, Nick Creger, and Kaitlyn Creger; and her beloved K9 companion Sir Maxwell.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice of Davidson County at 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
