Janice’s Obituary Janice Jean Sink Forrest, 78, of Lexington went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, March 21, 2019. A graveside service officiated by Pastor Ken Harris will be held at 4:30 pm, Sunday March 24, 2019 at Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 3:30pm-4:30 pm in the church sanctuary.

Janice was born March 19, 1941, to Lawrence Conrad Sink and Perry Miller Sink in Davidson County, NC. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles Lee Sink; Jerry Miller Sink; and Lawrence Conrad, Sink Jr.; and sisters, Luna Mae Brewer; and Nancy Elizabeth Sink. Surviving are her loving husband of sixty years, “Punkin” Carlton Roy Forrest, of the home; son, Kelly Forrest and wife Christy of Lexington; daughter, Sherry Lynn Forrest Lunsford of N. Myrtle Beach, SC; brothers, Bobby Wayne Sink of Lexington; and Barry Lane Sink (Shelia) of Holly Ridge; sister, Libby Gay Leonard (Bryce) of Lexington; three grandchildren, Zachary (Brooke), Kaleb and Rene; and seven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Union Grove Baptist Church. Davidson Funeral Home-Hickory Tree Chapel is serving the Forrest Family. Online condolences can be made at www.
