Nancy’s Obituary Nancy Clark Lanier, 85, of Welcome Bethesda Road, passed away Saturday March 30, 2019 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Monday April 1, 2019 at Center United Methodist Church, where she was a member, with Rev. Mitch Wilson conducting services.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm Monday at the Center United Methodist Church CFC Center. Mrs. Lanier was born April 4, 1933 in Davidson County to C.C. Clark and Roxie R’ana Morgan Clark. She was retired from PPG Industries.

Mrs. Lanier was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Bobby Reid Lanier; two brothers, Clay Van Clark and Pete Clark; and one sister, Hazel England Bremmer. Surviving are two sons, Tim Lanier of Welcome, and Johnny Lanier(Vickie) of South Carolina; two daughters, Terri Hill (Chuck) of Lenior and Kay Hedrick (Rocky) of Welcome; three brothers, Joe G. Clark of Salisbury, Rev. Jerry Clark ( Margaret) of South Carolina, and Jim Clark (Jenny) of Arizona; four sisters, Martha Black, Rebecca Mize, Jean Shoaf (Johnny) and Doris Bassett, all of Lexington; 5 granchildren, Selena Lanier (Sam Callicutt) Brandon Lanier, Carrie Wright Byrd, Katlyn Reich Paynter(Zack) and Alaina Hedrick Smith(Elliot); and 7 great-grandchildren, Kaeli, Isabella, Lucas, Brayden, Addie, Aubrey and Evie.

Memorials made be made to Center United Methodist Church General Fund 186 Center Church Road Lexington NC 27295.
