Hilda’s Obituary Hilda Ann Spivey Reed, age 81, of St. Pauls, NC passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at the Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. George Gee officiating.

Burial will follow in the Lexington City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Reed was born in Richmond County on January 16, 1938 to Edward Woodrow Spivey and Lydia Crouch Spivey.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, and will be remembered in the hearts of her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are her loving husband, Owen Brantley Reed of the home; two sons, Edward Reed and Phillip Reed both of St. Pauls; one daughter, Susan Reed Love of Garner; two brothers, Donald Spivey of Rockingham and Jim Spivey and wife Janice of Lexington; two grandchildren, Jordan Elizabeth Love and Valerie Ann Love; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the National Breast Cancer Foundation at 2600 Network Blvd, Suite 300, Frisco, TX 75034.
