Obituary for Betty E Kessler Betty E. Kessler, 88, of Anderson, passed away on December 9, 2018 at the Countryside Manor Health Care. She was born on February 21, 1930 in Pendleton, Indiana to the late Archie and Sara (Pettigrew) Maxwell. She worked in the cafeteria at Anderson University retiring in 2014, and many years for the Anderson community schools.

She was a very hard working woman and a loving mother and grandmother. Betty is survived by her daughter, Peggy Sue Kessler, granddaughters, Candy Allen, Charity Bishop, and Krista Kessler, Grandsons, Kyle Kessler, Keith Kessler and Alex Kessler, eight great-grandchildren, brother, Bob Maxwell, best friend Linda Addison and her beloved cat Patrick. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Bob Kessler of 43 years, brothers, Marcus, Archie Jr., Frank, and Jim, sister, Martina Fouse, daughter, Judy Fowler, sons, Mickey and Greg.
