Betty J. Woodward, 92 of New Port Richey, FL died on April 17, 2018. She was born in Meadville, PA on June 12, 1925, the daughter of Robert D. Thompson and Katherine Hall. Preceding her in death was her first husband, Charles R. Longshore; her second husband, Walter V. Woodward; 2 brothers, Robert and Fred Thompson; a sister, Zella Mossberg; a son, Charles Longshore; a daughter, Joyce Wintemute; a stepdaughter, Paulette Gilland; and 2 granddaughters, Susan and Sherri.

She is survived by her sister, Ruth Pierson, of Spring Hill, FL; her brother, Gaylord “Skip” Thompson; her son, David Longshore and his wife Marlene of Brooksville, FL; her daughter, Loretta Kendrick and her husband, Lloyd, of Palm Harbor, FL; 2 stepsons, Walter Woodward and his wife, Norma, and John Woodward and his wife, Barbara, all of Venango, PA; a stepdaughter, Pam Westbrook and husband Shawn of Michigan; 17 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Her positive attitude, smile, hugs and kisses will be missed. The Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Edinboro, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
