OBITUARY Betty Jean DeVore December 4, 1928 – December 18, 2018 Betty Jean DeVore, 90, of Louisville passed away on Tuesday December 18, 2018. She was born on December 4, 1928 to the late Vernon and Minnie (Sweasy) Thomas. Betty was retired from the old Taylor Drug Store and McDonald’s and had also worked for the KY Fair and Exposition Center.

In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by a grandson, Larry DeVore, Jr. Left to cherish her memories is her daughters, Sheila Wasson and Vickie Thomas (Phillip); a son, Larry DeVore, Sr.; 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Funeral services for Betty will be held at 1:00 pm Friday in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
