She was born November 2, 1948, in Brenham, Texas, the daughter of Elroy and Doris Eckermann. She had three siblings, Clark Eckermann, Robbie Eckermann, and Tammy Kluna.

Betty was united in marriage to Ronnie Blaschke, Texas, on January 20, 1968. They made their home in Tomball, Texas where they were blessed with one child, Shelia Bennatt. Betty enjoyed her job as the co-owner of a water company.

In her pastime, she enjoyed traveling with their friends in their hot rod, cross stitch, gardening, and most of all being with her 4 grand babies. Betty is survived by her husband of 50 years: Ronnie Blaschke of Queen Creek, Arizona; daughter: Shelia Bennatt of Dallas, Texas; and four grandchildren: Eva, Mayce, Dylan and Bree of Scottsdale, Arizona Betty was an amazing woman that gave so much love and support to everyone around her. She had a heart of gold.

She fought a tough battle with pancreatic cancer, and never once complained. She truly a beautiful soul inside and out. She I’ll be missed but never forgotten.
