Betty Jean Lienemann 89 of Butler Il passed away Aug. 31, 2018 at her residence. She was born in Greenville IL on Feb.

5, 1929 to Mary Sybert, She was raised by her grandparents Jim and Minnie Sybert. She retired after 21 years for the US Postal service delivering on rural routes. She married Elvin “Al” Lienemann in Carlinville on June 1, 1977.

He preceded her in death on May 10, 2002. She is survived by 3 sons David Matlock of Butler, Jim (Brenda) Bleisch of Greenville and Joe Jennings of Hillsboro one daughter Carol “Victoria” (Jim) Harms of Alton IL, 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren 5 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two children Mary Mills and Connie Lewey.

Private burial will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield. Memorials can be directed to Paws Care.
