Betty Jo Sillin, 83, of Kansas City, MO died at home on Monday, May 21, 2018, she was born in Billington West Virginia on October 1, 1934. Betty Jo loved her family and enjoyed traveling, playing bridge, sewing and making ceramics. She was a member of Barry Christian Church, the Order of the Eastern Star and was a Red Hatter.

She always had a great attitude and was ready to go at any time. She was the dear mother of Steven Ballard, Ronald “RD”. Ballard and Charles Apple; cherished grandmother of 14 and G.G. of 38; and special friend of Dale Carnine.

Betty Jo is preceded in death by her parents: Roland Virgil and Minnie Grace Elling, daughter Diana Roberts, Husbands Norman Gentry, Claude W. Apple and William Sillin; and her great-grandson Evan Hodges. Visitation will be Friday, May 25, 2018 from 9 AM until time of service at 10 AM at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO. Interment will follow at Terrace Park Cemetery.
