Betty Jo Love, 77, of Apache, died Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Comanche County Memorial Hospital. Viewing will be from 9:00am to 8:00pm on Monday, September 10 at Crew’s Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at 2:00pm at the First Baptist Church in Apache.

Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery under direction of Crew’s Funeral Home. Betty was born May 11, 1941 in Kiowa, OK, the oldest daughter of Raymond and Maggie Threlkeld. She married Raymond Love on October 16, 1959 in Apache, OK.

Betty worked as a waitress and fry cook. She later went back to school to receive her Phlebotomy and Home Health Aide license. She had a passion for taking care of others.

She loved it so much she worked for about 10 years at the Cyril Nursing Home and then as a home health nurse. A few of her hobbies included playing dominoes with her partner Imma Jo, winning several games. She loved working in the yard, crocheting, and going to the casino with her husband.

She loved going to the lake. She loved spending time with her kids, grandkids, great-grandkids and many other family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Raymond Love, of Apache; her 3 children: daughter, Debbie Love, son, Mike Love and Karen Ritter, and son, Charley Love and Galia Phillips all of Apache; 4 granddaughters: April Burkhart, Shelby Love, and Amber Love all of Lawton and April Phillips of Geronimo; 10 great grandkids: Jacob White, Cody White, Baleigh Burkhart, Chasydi Ireland, Macalah Burkhart, Brennan Burkhart, Payton Fountaine, Lou Phillips, Miles Warren and Mason Burkhart; 3 adopted children: Petra Roumillat and husband Kenneth of Lawton, Phyllis Raymond Riggs and Patrick (Popa) Raymond both of Kentucky; 3 sisters, Skeeter and Randy of Lawton, Donna and Ray of Apache and Lela Mae of Lawton; 2 brothers, Jackie Gibson of Lawton and Doug and Judy Threlkeld of Wichita Falls, TX.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Maggie and Raymond Threlkeld; sister, Martha Gibson; brother, Darrell Russell; brother, Truman Ware; brother, Robin LaHaire and nephew, James Black.
