Betty’s Obituary Mrs. Betty Joan (Sprague) Harnage, of Sea Cliff, Long Island, New York, born on August 2, 1939, in Glen Cove, New York, to the late Dorothy and Arthur Sprague, passed away at age 79 on May 1, 2019 in Scottsdale, Arizona. After completing high school she attended Alfred University for a short time. She was in the Medical industry at HonorHealth Scottdale Osborn Hospital as a Medical Transcriptionist until retiring in 1999.

Betty was the beloved wife of Arroll Harnage for 57 years. She is survived by her sons, Gary, and Bill (Magdalena); daughter, Susan; brother, Arthur Sprague (Elfriede); sister, Dorie Lamb (Barry); and grandchildren, Basia and Sterling. Betty loved spending time with her family, corresponding with her dear friends, traveling with Arroll in their motorhome, researching everything, current events and crafting.

Those who wish may donate in Betty’s name to Hospice of the Valley. Friends and family members may attend a Memorial Service on Friday, May 17 at 1:30 p.m. at Tempe Mortuary – Tempe, 405 E Southern Ave. , Tempe, Arizona, 85282.
