Betty’s Obituary Betty Lapp, 85, Bismarck, died May 13, 2019. Family will be greeting visitors from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm Monday, May 20, at Eastgate Funeral Service, 2302 East Divide Ave. , Bismarck, with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery.

Betty was born December 23, 1933, to Henry and Martha (Becker) Kraft in Zap, ND. She grew up and attended school in Zap. Betty married Oscar Lapp on October 6, 1963; and the couple moved to Bismarck where Betty raised their daughters and Oscar worked.

In later years, Betty had her own house painting business and worked at Design Wizards as a proof reader. She enjoyed spending time with her great-grandsons, they were her life! She is survived by her daughters, Diane Lapp, Bismarck, and Lynnette (Alvin) Crouch, Burlington, ND; granddaughter, Trina (Patrick) Gilhooly; great-grandsons, Rylan and Bryson Gilhooly; her niece and nephews; and her husband’s many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar; her parents; and her sister, Carol Chester.
