Betty was born in Middletown, OH on March 22, 1943 to Hobert and Betty Van Cleve) Deaton. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Christopher Lester and brother, Gary Lee Deaton.

Betty is survived by her husband of 58 years, Billy Lester; daughter, Elizabeth Purkey; sons, William (Carol) Lester and Kevin (Karla) Lester; ten grandchildren, Natalie, Raymond, Dustin, Erica, Hannah, Miranda, Emily, Cameron, Ben, Nick; four great grandchildren and brother, Hobert (Judy) Deaton. Funeral services are Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 10:00 am at Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home, 517 South Sutphin Street Middletown,OH with Pastor Brian Deaton officiating. Burial in Butler County Memorial Park.
