Betty was born August 27, 1948 in Casa Grande, Arizona to her parents Roy and Pauline (Thompson) Taylor. She grew up and attended school in Casa Grande, Arizona.

She then moved to Oklahoma with her family. Betty loved children and helped raise two nephews, Roy and Dale. She was quite the gardener and had a green thumb like no other.

Her flowers were beautiful. Betty worked as a nurse aide for the home health industry until the age of 70. She loved taking care of people.

We know she will be welcomed in heaven because she was a wonderful caring and giving lady sometimes giving to much of herself. She didn’t value things she valued people. Betty is preceded in death by her infant daughter, Robbin Skipworth, her parents, 4 brothers: Billy Gene Taylor, James Earl Taylor, Tommy Dean Taylor and Timmy Dale Taylor.

She is survived by 3 sisters: Patricia Ann Moler and husband Dale of Sayre, OK, Lavon Stevens and husband Don of Weatherford, OK, Kathleen Castro of Sayre, OK, 4 brothers: William Ray Taylor and wife Moreen of Sayre, OK, Jimmy Lee Taylor and Dee of Sayre, OK, Bo Taylor and wife Becky of Eakly, OK, Gary Mitchell Taylor and wife Cristine of Marlow, OK and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, May 24, 2019 at Rose Chapel Funeral Home, Sayre with Ray Levertt officiating. Visitation will be held 12:30 PM -9:00 PM, Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Rose Chapel, Sayre.
