Betty L. Ruck, age 89, died early Monday morning at her residence in Geneva. She was bron October 10, 1929 in Sankerstown, PA, the daughter of Lambert & Vera (Edger) Warner and has resided in the Geneva area the past 52 years. Betty worked to the age of 76, retiring from the Cleveland Institute of Electronics where she worked in the mailroom.

She was a member of Assumption Church and she enjoyed painting, coloring and doing crafts. Survivors include four children, Cindy (Ted) Ruck of Geneva, Steve (Tracy) Ruck of Willoughby, Larry (Sandy) Branek of Geneva & Don (Sue) Branek of Dayton; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Steven Ruck, Sr. in 1981; a daughter, Susan Hillyer; a son, Steve Branek; sisters, Wanda Chapman, Marge Hanson, Mildred Brewer & Velma Warner and a brother, Bert Warner.

Graveside services will be held a later date at Madison Memorial Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 1166 Lake Ave. , Ashtabula, OH 44004.
