Betty Mae King, age 77, of Bristol, Va. , went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, June 6, 2018. She was born July 20, 1940, to the late Robert A. Rosenbaum and Susie Kathleen Rosenbaum.

She was a member of Mt. Carmel Christian Church. Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who harbored an abounding love for children and animals.

; two sisters, Mary Sullins and Janie Bowman both of Abingdon, Va. ; three beloved grandchildren, Travis Shrewsbury and wife, Chelsea; Ashley Johnson and husband, Aaron, and Heather Shrewsbury; great granddaughter, Madison Odum; great grandson, Jace Johnson; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral ceremony will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 10, 2018, at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service.

A committal service will follow at Forest Hills Memory Gardens where George Burks, Aaron Johnson, Joe Roark, Tyler Roark, Bryan Saul, and Eddie Shrewsbury will serve as pallbearers. Bill Casey, Randy Reynolds, and Travis Shrewsbury will serve as honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Saturday, June 9, 2018, at the funeral home.
