Obituary for Betty Wetherbee Betty Wetherbee, age 87, of Henderson, KY, passed away at 1:34 p.m., Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, IN. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Elizabeth Myers, her husband of 35 years, Robert Wetherbee, and a son, James Anthony “Tony” West. Betty came from a large family and was the last living of her siblings, four brothers and three sisters.

Her early career ranged from working in sales to being a pharmacy technician at Boyd’s Pharmacy. She was a caregiver at heart; from meeting the needs of her son Tony, a police officer injured in the line of duty, to loving on her grandchildren all the time. Betty was a treasure to her family and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include: 2 Daughters: Polly West Kirkwood of Owensboro, KY Cindy Clements of Henderson, KY 3 Grandchildren: Mandi Spears, Zack Markwell, and Whitney Sturgeon 4 Great Grandchildren: Maddie Spears, Jackson Spears, Will Markwell, and Ella Markwell Numerous Nieces and Nephews Relatives and friends are invited to Betty’s Life Celebration from 4:00- 7:00 p.m. on Friday and again on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the service time at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson, KY.
