Beulah’s Obituary Beulah Schiefer (June 22, 1930 – March 24, 2019) Beulah Schiefer Frankenmuth, MI passed away Sunday March 24, 2019 at Covenant Hospital in Saginaw; age 88 years. Beulah was born in Millington on June 22, 1930, daughter of the late Louis & Charlotte (Dittmar) Reinert. She married Edward (Eddie) Schiefer on July 14, 1951.

They owned and farmed their centennial farm until their retirement. Beulah also worked at the following in Frankenmuth: Universal Engineering, Zehnders Restaurant, Village Store, and as a cook at St. Lorenz School. She also volunteered at MOPS and Bethesda Thrift Shop.

Beulah belonged to St. Lorenz Church and was active there in church work, Ladies Aid, and volunteering at funerals. Beulah enjoyed working on the family farm, bowling, listening to polka music, polka dancing, card playing, traveling with friends, gardening, and baking cookies / pastries. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, family, and friends.

Also, she was very proud to be part of a large, close knit family. Surviving are three children, Gary (Diane) Schiefer of Frankenmuth, MI, James (Edie) Schiefer of Fairfax, VA, Bonnie (Steve) Bell of Frankenmuth, MI; six grandchildren, Margaret, John, Derek, Shelby Schiefer, Spencer (Elizabeth) and Carson Bell; two brothers, Alfred (Connie) Reinert, Victor (Janette) Reinert; one sister, Mildred (Carl) Schreiner; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Erna Reinert, Leona Reinert, Joyce Reinert, Marian Reinert, Marcella Weber, Joyce Schiefer Booth, Irene (Ralph) Haubenstricker, and many nieces and nephews. Beulah was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie, by brothers and sisters, Erwin Reinert, Walter (Genevie) Reinert, Erna (Arnold) Rodammer, Harvey (Marion) Reinert, Vera (Herb) Witt, Raymond Reinert, Wymon Reinert; by brothers-in-law, Harold Weber, Harry Schiefer.

Beulah loved God her Savior Jesus and her family. She also loved Frankenmuth, Millington, and the surrounding areas and leaves behind many friends. Funeral services will take place on Friday, March 29, 2019 at 10:15 a.m. at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. and 11:00 a.m. at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church.

Pastor Kaiser will officiate with the burial between services in St. Lorenz Lutheran Cemetery. Beulah’s family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
