Beverly Ann Wilson, age 81, a resident of Atwater passed away Monday, October 1, 2018 of complications from cancer at the Atwater home of her son Robert, and his wife Myrna Wilson peacefully with her family by her side and comfortable per her wishes. Beverly was born August 18, 1937 in Sioux City, Iowa to the late George John and Mary Catherine (Schleimer) Mohrhauser. Beverly accompanied the love of her life and US Air Force retired Senior Master Sergeant after 28 years travelling around the country and the world.

She retired herself from the Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) at Castle Air Force Base after more than 20 years. On April 14, 1956, she married Norbert Ray Wilson in Cresco, Iowa. Beverly was a loving wife, caring mother, kind grandmother (Nana) who gave great hugs, friendly with a wild sense of humor, colorful and loved to dance, independently strong willed, courageously enjoyed life, and adventurous.

We will miss her, her laugh was contagious and her kindness towards friends and family will never be forgotten. She is survived by three sons: Raymond A. Wilson of Richmond, KY. ; Robert A. Wilson of Atwater, CA.

and Ronald A. Wilson of Daytona Beach, FL. ; a sister, Joan Wernett of Cresco, IA; eight Grandchildren, Kristen, Jennifer, Mathew, Stefany, Jayce, Sydney, Catrina and Daniel; and three Great Grandchildren, Roan, Suzanna, and Claire. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Norbert Wilson; two sisters, Marian and Darlene, and one brother Wayne Mohrhauser.

A Memorial service will be held at 12:00 P.M., Saturday, October 20 at Ivers & Alcorn in Atwater. Arrangements are under the direction of Ivers & Alcorn of Atwater.
