Beverly Jeanne Muir, 81, of Lone Oak went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 12, 2018 in Quinlan. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan with Pastor Sam Calk officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.

Beverly was born on April 25, 1937 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. She is the daughter of the late Stanley Barendt and Sylvia Lumbatis Barendt. The family moved to Florida when she was a child and that is where she was raised and educated.

Beverly married Paul Muir on November 11, 1955 in Florida. They made their home in Florida until 1973 when they moved to Arvada, Colorado. Then in 1975 to Casper, Wyoming and in 1984 to Colorado Springs, Colorado.

In 1989 they moved to Texas and made their home in rural Lone Oak for the last 23 years. Mr. Muir preceded her in death on August 8, 2010. She had many hobbies which included sewing, jewelry making, reading and garage sales.

She enjoyed the Jimmy Swaggert Ministries. She loved to talk to her granddaughter, Traci everyday on the phone. She is loved and will be missed by her son Darin Muir and wife Amy of Arlington, TX; daughter Nanette Luft and husband Jim of Surprise, AZ; brother Jerry Barendt and wife Carol of Arvada, Colorado; grandchildren Traci Jo Muir, Benjamin Andrew Muir and Danielle Eryn Leigh Muir; and her beloved cats Kloe and Sammie.
