Chris Lutz, 81, of West Tawakoni went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 17, 2018. Memorial services celebrating Chris’ life will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Grace Baptist Church with Pastor Eddie Singleton officiating. Chris was born in Dallas, Texas on May 19, 1937.

He is the son of the late Lucielle Huffhines and Chris Lutz, Sr He graduated from Richardson High Schhool and attended Sam Houston. As an adult he was employed at Wilson Engraving and later owned a Shell Service station.

After retiring he moved to West Tawakoni and owned and operated a lawn service. He was also preceded in death by his son Michael Lutz and step-son Jay Graham. He loved to be outdoors, hunting, fishing, waterskiing and riding motorcycles.

Chris had many friends in and around the Tawakoni/Quinlan area and he was loved and respected by all. He is loved and will be missed by his wife Peggy Lutz; daughter Debbie Robertson; son Chris Lutz III; step-daughter Joni Barr; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
