Beverly June Easterday, 91, of Massillon, passed away on November 29, 2018 at Amherst Meadows. She was born in Massillon on June 14, 1927 to the late Ralph and Grace (Cady) Weaver. Bev married her high school sweetheart, Lawrence “Larry” Easterday on October 28, 1950.

They shared 58 loving years together until his passing in 2009. She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church and previously worked as a secretary at Union Drawn Steel where she retired from after 40 years of service. After retirement, Bev and Larry spent some of their time traveling to Myrtle Beach together.

Beverly also enjoyed doing crafts. She was very skilled at using a needle and thread to create beautiful beaded pictures. She also loved all kinds of flowers and cats.

She will be deeply missed by her daughter Cheryl (Bob) Frazee; granddaughters Wendy (Kenny) Stevens and Lori (Andy) Bendure; and great-grandchildren Shane, Samantha, Ean, and Ema. In addition to her parents and husband, Bev was preceded in death by her son Larry “Gordie” Easterday, daughter Nancy Easterday, and sisters Evelyn Sokal and Zelma Heidy. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 from 11-1 p.m.at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon.
