Bharat C. Achrekar, 61, of Aberdeen, passed away, on Wednesday, June 13th, 2018 at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank, New Jersey. Born in Mumbai, India, he moved to Queens, New York in 1980 and in 1982 he lived in Manhattan, New York. In 1986 he lived in Old Bridge, New Jersey, in 1996 he lived in Marlboro, New Jersey before settling in Aberdeen, New Jersey in 2016.

He was a salesman for All American Subaru in Old Bridge, New Jersey. Bharat is survived by his beloved wife, Hamewattie (Persaud) Achrekar, his loving parents, Chandrakant and Vilasini (Walawalkar) Achrekar, his caring children, Vijay B. Achrekar and his wife, Varsha and Sunil B. Achrekar, his dear siblings, Smita D’Souza and her husband, Lionel of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, Vandana Mathure and her husband, Milind of Tampa, Florida and Manoj Achrekar and his wife, Archana of Gilbert, Arizona.

Bharat will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, June 15, 2018 from 6:00 to 10:00 PM and Saturday morning, June 16, 2018 from 8:15 to 9:00 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A prayer service will be offered on Saturday morning, June 16, 2018 at 9:30 AM at Liberty Grove Memorial Gardens Crematory, 549 Morristown Road, Old Bridge, New Jersey 08857.
