Obituary for Billie Marie Soontay Billie Marie Soontay passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2018 in Dallas, Texas. She was born to the late Anderson and Carrie (Briton) Berryhill on January 4, 1928 in Okmulgee. Billie was 90 years old.

Billie loved cooking and bead work. She enjoyed listening and singing creek songs. Billie was very active in church.

Her late husband Richard was their pastor. Billie was a very loving and caring mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Richard Soontay, sons Emon Church Wallace, and Kenneth Wallace and eight siblings.

Left to cherish all of the memories of Billie is her daughters Nancy Pipin and husband David, and Christina Wallace, grandchildren Jason Wallace, Brandon Totubbi, Misty Milford, Allen Totubbi, Christopher Totubbi, Sarah Totubbi, Sasha Wallace, Brian Wallace, Vanessa Twolance, Andrew Wallace, Jana Wallace, David Pipins, Jr. and Carrie Wallace Geydos, four great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services for Billie will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday March 10, 2018 at the Okmulgee Indian Baptist Church with Pastor Fred Lowe officiating. Interment will follow at the Okmulgee Indian Baptist Church Cemetery.

A wake service will be 6:00 P.M. Friday, March 9, 2018 at the Okmulgee Indian Baptist Church. Friends may visit the funeral home on Friday, March 9th from 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. Casketbearers will be Brandon Totubbi, Jr., Richard Totubbi, Matthew Kohler, Nathan Papps, Anderson Berryhill, T.J. Smith, and Jerry Smith. Arrangements have been entrusted to the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
