Obituary for Billy Hunsucker Sr Mr. Billy James Hunsucker, Sr., 76, passed away on Friday, July 6, 2018 at his home, surrounded by his family. A graveside service will be held 10:00 am, Monday, July 9, 2018 at West Concord Cemetery.
The family will greet friends following the service. Billy was born on March 3, 1942 to the late James Julius Hunsucker and Kate Belle Henry. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Barnes.
Billy had worked for years as a forklift operator at Collins & Aikman and at the Cabarrus County Library in Mt. Pleasant. He enjoyed working on lawn mowers and stripping copper.
He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Brown Hunsucker; daughters, Gladys Haigler, Tina Hunsucker; son, Billy James Hunsucker, Jr.; sisters, Betty Spangler, Margaret Shue; grandchildren, Shana Haigler, Chris Haigler, Tiffany Hunsucker, Marcus Morgan, Clarissa Hall; 2 great-grandchildren.
