Philip Harvey Collier, 59, of Concord, passed away Monday, September 24, 2018. Phil was born June 26, 1959 in Kinston, NC to the late Harvey Lee Collier, Jr. and Joan Baldree Collier. Phil was a veteran of the United States Navy.

He enjoyed being in the kitchen and cooking for others. Phil was very loving and caring. He would do anything for others.

Survivors include mother, Joan B. Collier of Harrisburg, NC; sister, Donna (Mike) Barnack of Sanford, NC; niece, Holly (John) Whittenborn of Morrisville; nephew, Sam (Faith) Plante; five great nieces and nephews; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A funeral service with military honors will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, October 1, 2018 at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, Harrisburg, officiated by Rev. Toni Ruth Smith.

The family will receive friends from 1 – 1:45 pm, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Phil will be laid to rest at Salisbury National Cemetery at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, October 2, 2018, officiated by Rev. Wes Smith.
