Edward Stephen Waligora, 86, of Concord, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2018 at St. Andrews Living Center in Concord. Edward was born December 3, 1931 in Pennsylvania to the late Andrew Waligora and the late Louise Sadjak Waligora. He was also preceded in death by granddaughter, Stephanie Waligora.

The family will receive friends from 6pm -8pm on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Hartsell Funeral Home . The funeral service will be on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 4pm at St. James The Greater Catholic Church in Concord officiated by Father Jerome. Burial will follow at the St. James Greater Catholic Church Cemetery at 2323 Gold Hill Rd.

Survivors include wife, Eleanor Waligora of Concord, NC, son, David (Beverly) Waligora, son, Alan (Lori) Waligora, son, Mark (Susan) Waligora, daughter, Sharon Waligora (Stephen Cutchin) , daughter, Nancy Waligora (Christophe Dagassan) Grandchildren; Mark (Megan) Waligora, Anne Waligora, Elise (Zach) Baynum, Diana Waligora, Michael (Tiffany)Waligora,Elizabeth Waligora, Matthew(Catherine)Waligora, Mary Waligora (Richard), Meredith Cutchin (Michael Therrien), Grant ( MaryAnn) Cutchin, Tristan Dagassan, Marielle Dagassan, and one great-granddaughter Shay Waligora. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Waligora family.
