Floyd Lee Lambert, 76, of Concord, NC passed away Monday, September 3, 2018 after years of declining health. Floyd was born June 5, 1942 in Concord, NC to the late Luther Evans Lambert and the late Mollie Marie Myers Lambert. He was also preceded in death by his daughter Loretta Lambert Buckwell; as well as three sisters and six brothers.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Geneva Jean Lambert of the home; son Bill Lambert of the home; son Nick Lambert and fiance Nettie Evan, of Concord; grandchildren Brandy, Tim, Michael, Paul, Carrie Jean, Loretta and Faith, all of Concord; great grandchildren Nathan, Aleia, Kirstin, Peyton, Bailey, Nelson, Haiden, Raylan, Harley, Joey, Camryn and Coltyn “Baby Floyd”; brother Donald Lambert of Concord; sister in law Joyce Lambert; as well as many nieces and nephews. Floyd worked forty four years in the textile mills. He loved baseball and racing, but most of all he loved his children and grandchildren.

Floyd will be dearly missed by all those who knew him. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Friday, September 7, 2018 at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel of Concord, officiated by Rev.

Roger Bostic. Burial will follow at the West Concord Cemetery at 331 Union Cemetery Rd SW, Concord. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
