William S. Bell, Jr. (Bill), 71, of Locust, entered into rest, Tuesday, September 4, 2018. Bill was born March 7, 1947 in Panama City, Florida to the late William S. Bell, Sr. and the late Margaret Louise Conklin. Bill was the beloved husband of Wanda Merritt Bell, his wife of 51 years.

He was a resident of Locust for the past 45 years. Survivors include wife, Wanda Bell; daughter, Donna Bell; daughter, Ronni Meranda, and husband, Shon; and four grandchildren, David Smith, William Fleming, Emily Green, and Dylan Meranda. They are joined by a loving family of close friends who will dearly miss him and look forward to seeing him again.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 8, 2018, 4:30 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 117 Simpson Rd, Locust NC 28097. Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Bell family. Online condolences may be made at www.
